Something else I absolutely adore is seafood. Although I don't like every single thing that you can eat from the sea, what I do like I can't get enough of. So why not combine both?!
For my snack today I had a prawn salad! To go along with it I had ginger tea.
While I let my tea infuse (for 5 minutes at least) I got cracking on making my salad.
Half an hour before I even started making my tea, I defrosted a handful of large prawns in a bowl of cold water.
I chopped a selection of my favourite vegetables; lettuce, celery, mangetout, cucumber and red pepper up into small peices. I think chopping the veg is my favourite part of making a salad, after the presentation, that is.
Finally, after I'd prepared the salad in a bowl I sprinkled the defrosted prawns on top, ready to eat. I nearly couldn't take photos of my finished food, I could hardly keep myself from digging in straight away!!
Yum!! (I didn't realise how big this salad was going to turn out, might be too full to eat dinner now!!)
